Comrades,

Can it be virtually three months now since the Michigan Master Folk
Musician, John Perona, last appeared at the beautiful Michigan House
Cafe in Calumet? Yes, it was on Valentine's Day, and it's long overdue
for Johnny to come out again. Here's an open invitation to all the
Copper Country Cognoscenti to join Maestro Perona and his two loyal--if
bumbling--henchmen, Randy Seppala and Oren Tikkanen, for an evening of
traditional UP folk music and fine dining.

Johnny's rattling rhythm-bones will tickle your toes, his soulful
concertina will squeeze your nostalgia, and his ringing spoons will stir
your emotions like a cup of coffee--heck, I heard that one old Finn,
upon hearing Johnny play, felt such love for his wife that he almost
told her! Luckily, he regained control of himself as he turned to her,
and all he said was, "Let's dance." They did, and you can, too, from 7-9
PM this Friday, May 11, at the Michigan House, on 6th Street in Calumet..

See yez there.
