Here is a paragraph in the jazz vernacular. See if you can decipher
the meaning ("translation" is at the bottom of this message).
"Hey, man! Saturday is THE gig! Skate over to the Rozsa and scope
the "Steves". The hit is at 7:30PM. Dig the King of Bone and Zomar.
Don't be caught cacking at your crib! That would be lame. After the
gig head over to the Upper Deck and hang at the session! The Moon
Dogs are nails and the libes are killin'! Have a taste, chill, jam,
and groove. No need for a jar store run - just be at the Upper Deck!
What it is!
What it will be!"
Enjoy!
Mike
See you at the CONCERT!
>40 Years of Jazz at MTU Gala Concert
>
>Saturday, March 24, 7:30 PM, Rozsa Center
>
>Featuring the MTU Jazz Lab Band with special guests:
"Friends! Saturday is the day of the Jazz Concert. Depart for the
Rozsa Center and experience of music of Steve Wiest and Steve Zenz.
The concert begins at 7:30PM. Steve Wiest is a world class trombone
jazz artist and Steve Zenz is the go-to-guy if you want your jazz to
swing! Don't be caught napping at you residence. That would not be
good. After the Concert, drive over to the Upper Deck (at the Ramada
Inn in Hancock) and party/socialize at the informal improv session.
The Moon Dogs 9hosts of the session) are great and the
drinks/libations are of the highest quality. Have a drink, relax,
sit in with the band (if you want to), and enjoy the experience to
the fullest. There is no need to shop at a liquor store - just be at
the Upper Deck.
