That's right!--the gloriously eclectic and notoriously electric
neo-Celtic string band famously known as Fiddlehead returns to Cormac's
little bit of Ireland in the peaceful countryside of downtown Laurium,
i.e. the Irish Times Restaurant and Pub, this Saturday, January 13th,
for a one-night stand. From 8-11 PM, you can hear the rollicking
rhythms, voluptuous vocals, booming bodhrans, fret-free fiddling, and
punctilious picking of Fiddlehead as you sip your pint of Guiness and
contemplate the dessert choices.

As for the food--I recently had "jerked" salmon, followed by a rich
(chocolate) dessert (what was it called? "Triple chocolate
WMD?" "Three-layer chocolate stressor?") . Egad, comrades! My central
nervous system is still tingling a week later (but the flashbacks have
almost subsided...)

There is no doubt, my friends! For those fortunate enough to have a
discerning palate and an ear attuned to musical mischief, the Irish
Times is the only choice for this Saturday evening.
NO COVER CHARGE
Fiddlehead is
Professor Doctor Libby Meyer--fiddle and sultry femininity
Gentleman Joel Tepsa--guitar, vocals, and roguish charm
Brother Floyd Henderson--bodhran, banjo, vocals, and good, grave wisdom
Handsome Matt Durocher--bass and bashful good looks
Gaffer Oren Tikkanen--mandolin, vocals, tall tales, and his new, blue
guitar from Donegal, Ireland
