Hi Folks -

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the recording arts class
I will be teaching up at Keweenaw Krayons. It's going to be a
great class for any musician involved in recording or live sound.
It wont be boring lecture - we will be doing as much hands-on as posssible
with real world projects....

Most folks have some idea in their mind what they want their finished product to
sound like.... if it is music, the goal is generally to get some emotional
response from the listener...whether to dance or cry or even to laugh....
These mental 'pictures' of the finshed product (after the creative musical
decisions are made) require
translating into the technical 'language' of modern recording. Most folks
attempts at recording their sounds fall far short of their mental
'picture'. Hopefully, this course will give the ability to translate
what your mind 'hears' into the techniques that will create that mental
sound on a recording......whether you are doing it yourself, or trying to
communicate your idea to another engineer.

If you are interested in signing up call or email....
