CANCER BENEFIT SHOW THIS WEEKEND IN MARQUETTE
"Blues for Life" show to feature area blues bands to raise funds=20
for cancer research and local recovery programs
The "Blues for Life" cancer benefit is being held this weekend in =
Marquette to raise funds for cancer treatment and recovery programs. =20
The show is being held at The Lagniappe Restaurant and Voodoo Bar in =
downtown Marquette on Saturday, April 28-th 2007. Doors open at 6-pm =
with music starting at 7-pm. The event will feature music by two of =
Marquette's top blues bands, Fast Eddie's Blues Band and the Flat Broke =
Blues Band. The evening will also feature complimentary Cajun and Creole =
themed specialty foods, a silent auction, a cash bar, and much more.
All proceeds being raised at the "Blues for Life" benefit will be =
directly forwarded to area cancer treatment and recovery programs. =
Tickets are $20 for the "Blues for Life" benefit and can be purchased in =
advance by calling the Screened Image in Marquette at (906) 226-6112. =
Tickets will also be available at the door.
