Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida
Following hot on the heels of their enormously successful collaborations
for The Lion King, the fabulous duo Elton John and Tim Rice have once again
joined their talents to create another contemporary musical, based this
time on the classic tale of Aida. This Tony Award winning musical tells
the story of love between a soldier and an enslaved princess - a love that
threatens their lives and their people. Ultimately, however, their love
transcends the cultural differences between the two warring nations,
ushering in an unprecedented time of peace and prosperity.
