[local-music] Road experienced band looking for a drummer for a serious artistic venture

                                Drummers:
Three local artists(Hancock)want to put together a progressive band that
plays exclusively original music(NO COVERS).  1st phase of the band will
focus on local playing and touring to solidify the sound. 2nd phase,
regional touring. 3rd phase—beyond.

The band is looking for experienced(or undoubtedly talented or both)
drummers with the ability to drop in at any time during any jam and
contribute significantly.

People interested must consider this a serious endeavor with the ability
to devote some time to it.  At least one guaranteed jam session per
week(or more depending on scheduled, we’re all college students, so we’ll
make it work).

The band wants to cover a few different genres of music and be able to
have a completely different show depending on the venue we play( one
night--soul-funk, blues; the next night—Clutch-like groove rock; the next
night progressive Pink Floyd style transcendent rock) but always original.

If you have the dream of music and are serious about it, get in touch.  We
need able and ready musicians to help get this dream off the ground.


Band influences: Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Tom Waits, Led Zeppelin,
Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Clutch, Clapton, The Doors etc…
