Tickets go on sale on December 2nd, 2006.
Weekend passes will be 50% off for one day only on
December 2nd!

The Friends of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness
State Park are once
again having a one day Porcupine Mountains Music
Festival ticket sale.
On Saturday December 2nd, for one day only, 3-Day
passes will be
offered for $35 (50% off). The ticket sale will be
held at the
Porcupine Mountains Ski Chalet (the site of the
festival) in
conjunction with the Friends of the Porkies' Ski Swap
from 10am to
4pm. Tickets can also be purchased online with a
credit card using

We have expanded our Friday programming from its
original 6 hours to
10 hours. This adds 5 additional sets of music to the
schedule for a
planned total of 33 sets on 2 stages over 3 days. In
addition to these
performances, additional workshops will be held inside
the Chalet
throughout the weekend and a special Children's
Activity Tent will
offer several activities.

Planning is underway for the 3rd Annual Porcupine
Mountains Music
Festival which will take place August 24th, 25th and
26th, 2007. Mark
you calendars now and purchase your tickets early for
maximum savings.
Seth Bernard & Daisy May who performed at the first
festival in 2005
will be returning in 2007. We are also excited to have
Steppin In It
closing the festival on Sunday. They hail from
Lansing, Michigan and
are a folk-rockin', sweet jazz, bluegrass, old-time
swingin' quartet.
We expect they'll be a great final treat for everyone
who attends.

Expect lots of updates on our website over the next
couple of months
as we ramp up our booking process.
