Hi all.

Some of you may know me from my position as
guitarist/bassist/growler/noize-maker in Annie Feed Water, my emo
recordings, or my playing with the Keweenaw Area Jazz Band last year, and
the MTU Jazz Lab Band this year.

I'm currently trying to put together a progressive/ experimental rock/ metal
band with influences ranging from (most prominently) The Mars Volta,
Cursive, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Kyuss, Lamb of God, Primus, and others.
The sounds in my head can only be classified as a full on Prog Rock
Orchestra, fit with strings, percussion, horns, keys, guitars, and (of
course) bass.

I'd like to hear from musicians of all backgrounds. Guitarists,
piano/keys/synth players, vocalists, drummers, string, brass and woodwind
players, percussionists, anyone! I want to make technical, yet listenable
music, and feel that horns and woodwinds would fit the bill to make jazzier,
bluesier, funkier tracks. Multi-instrumental abilities are a plus. Odd
instruments take the cake...tin whistle, accordion, fife, oude, whatever!

Feel free to e-mail me at jake.posega@gmail.com, or add me to any messenger:
jake_posega@hotmail (or yahoo).com for MSN/ YIM, jposega for AIM. I look
forward to hearing from some potential bandmates.
