Plans for the 2006 Porcupine Mountains Music Festival
are nearly finalized. The festival will take place
August 25th, 26th & 27th. 

We are looking for music lovers who would like to
volunteer for the festival. If you are interested,

Also, for any of you music lovin hams out there who
would like to hop up on stage with your tip jar and
let it rip acoustically...we need you!  Sign up to
perform for tips and your festival admission for the
day will be free........ 

The busking stage will be an all-acoustic (no
electricity) location on the festival grounds where
interested amateurs and performers alike will have
an opportunity to perform". Buskers will not be paid
by the Festival for performing, however, tip jars are
permitted and scheduled buskers will receive free
admission into the festival on the day of their
busking performance. Anyone interested in signing up
for a busking slot is asked to email Linda Kermeen at
