[local-music] Holiday Jazz at KBC--Tues 12/12

The "Swedetown Irregulars" will be warming up the KBC
this tues Dec 12th from 8:00-10:00pm with
jazza-bluesy-gypsy music and select holiday tunes. 
Join us for a few pints of holiday cheer and a fair
amount of music that we'll make up on the spot.  

The Irregulars met in a Turkish prison where they were
force fed underpinnings of Zappaesque music theory
such as polymodal chromaticism, anhemitonic scales,
and John's all-time favorite--that most clandestine of
scales--the melodic minor.  To this day, they often
wake bolt upright at night, sweating profusely and
babbling about mixeduplibbian modes.  The Irregulars
are: 

John Munson - keys, sax, clarinet, and philosophy
Oren Tikkanen - guitar, vocals, and gypsy flavorings
Brian Parameter - upright bass by a standup dude
Greg Wright - minimalist drums and chanting
