[local-music] residence halls looking for bands

Do you play in a band, or know a band that’s looking for a few more venues
to play at and get their name out?  How does an audience full of first
year students and residents sound?

The Inter-Residence Council is looking for a few good bands to play in the
Residence Hall cafeterias.  Mostly weekdays from 4-6 PM, we’d like to have
both Wads and McNair hall cafeterias rocking from November to April.  It’s
a great chance for a new band to get a good fan base, or even an old one
to add more listeners.  And get fun stuff for playing :).

Auditions for interested bands will be held on Oct 16, from 2-4 PM in the
Wads Annex.  Please e-mail either saalicar@mtu.edu or jpemeric@mtu.edu to
reserve a spot by Oct 15th if you are interested.
