Hey all,

My name is Brandon Braithwaite, a grad student at MTU and the organizer
for the 1st Annual Engineers Without Borders Band Benefit to be held at
the Uphill 41 on Saturday Oct 22nd from 9pm - close.

This benefit is a fundraiser for 6 MTU students and 2 faculty to travel to
Santa Cruz, Bolivia over Thanksgiving break to build a septic system and
bathroom facility for an elementary school. Engineers Without Borders
(www.ewb-usa.com) is an international, non-profit, service organization.

I an extending the invitation for everybody to come to the band benefit,
and I am also looking for 1 or 2 more bands that would be willing to play.
This event will attract 300-400 people ages 18+ (21+ to drink) and would
be great exposure. Bands will have the opportunity to play for an hour or
so depending on the number. We will be charging a $3 cover at the door.
Please let me know if you're interesting in playing, and please feel
welcome to come!

Thanks,
Brandon Braithwaite
