Subject:  Variance Gigs This Week

     Variance is playing two gigs this week; one this wednesday at the
Upper Deck in the Ramada Inn, Hancock, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.  Brad
Abar will be sitting in on drums, and it will be AWESOME.
     The band will also be playing at Nutini's in Hancock from about 10
p.m. until close.  This gig will be like a SPECTACULAR EXTRAVAGANZA.
     Variance plays reggae, blues, and rock, including originals, in the
Keewenaw area.  Members Ray Francis and Mark Olson will also be
playing this weekend in the MTU Jazz Showcase in McArdle theatre
starting at 7:30 p.m. this friday and saturday evenings.  These gigs
will be JAZZTASTIC.
