Just a reminder of the French-Canadian music and dance program this Saturday, December 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Historic Congregational Church in Lake Linden (1st Street & N Avenue). The program will include traditional folk and holiday songs, French Canadian fiddle tunes for listening or dancing, and the opportunity to learn two folk dances. Admission is free!

Big Ray and The Frostbite Blues Band will not be playing this coming
weekend, we will however be playing at the Press Box sports bar at
the Ojibwa Casino in Baraga on Friday December 16th and at the Upper
Deck in the Ramada in Hancock (near the bridge for those unfamiliar)
on Saturday Decemer 17th. Hope to see you there.

Hi there.
I run a tiny radio show called "The Mix Auxiliary," on WKMJ, Friday nights from 10-midnight. Not all the time, but most of the time, I like to announce local concerts going on, if there are any that weekend (which there usually are). However, I have one request if you're posting about a concert your band is playing.
Could you please include the date of the show you're playing? I know sometimes the messages don't get posted to this group right away, and if that happens, I'm not sure what day the email may be referring to. For instance, I may not know what "Tonight" might mean.Thursday? Friday? Saturday? I.E. "We're playing at Joe's tonight! Come check us out!"
Not a big deal, but it might help some.
Keep up the good work everyone! Keep the local music scene thriving!
